"It looks better on her," Serena stated blandly nodding towards the blonde on the screen.
Olivia sat wide-eyed on the couch, trying so hard not to laugh that her shoulders were shaking from the explosion threatening to break. Alex, on the other hand, looked scarily calm; she slowly extricated herself from Olivia's hold and made her way to the other sofa. Looking down at Serena, who sat completely blank faced except for a slight glimmer in her eyes, she moved her hand slowly to take the bowl of popcorn from Abbie's grasp.
"Alex..." Serena said softly, as to warn the other woman.
Before she could say anything further, the salty, buttery contents of the bowl were dumped unceremoniously over her head.
"Alex!" squawked by Serena, Olivia's explosion of laughter, and the thump as the laughing woman fell off the couch, were all that could be heard through the apartment.
"You are so dead!"
'You can try...but then of course I need to remind you of that incident second year of law school..."
Serena's eyes doubled in size as her ears, still peppered with popcorn and salt, turned tomato red. "Hey, look, Will and Jada just arrive..."
"What happened in law school?" Abbie questioned, head turning between the two blondes.
