I had my left wrist rebuilt in March and have subsequently taken my new bits of metal down to South Africa...admittedly, I did ping, but that was due to the wheelchair I was sitting in!
I have a hatred of voice recognition software, mainly due to a lack of patience to train it properly, so good luck with that....
